Pip Hancox has fronted the Guana Batz since the early 1980s, when they became one of the major names on the Psychobilly scene.
Of course The Guana Batz are still enjoying regular successful appearances around the globe, but Pip decided that an outlet for a slightly different style - with just the same energy and excitement - was needed, and formed the band Hancox.
Located in Southern California, Hancox consists of Pip Hancox on vocals and longtime Guana Batz bandmate Jonny Bowler on stand up bass, with Gino Meregillano on guitar and Alex Pappas on drums.
With the many varied influences and backgrounds combined into one band, a very unique and powerful sound and feel has been created, and captured on CD for their debut album.
