Waiting For A Train CD
Lady Luck Combo
Waiting For A Train CD
Waiting For A Train is Lady Luck Combo's smokin' debut album.
With their roots in Rockabilly they move between related genres to create something entirely their own.
Opening track Peggy Lee is a knockout - rocked out at furious speed.
With songs like Cry Over You and Waiting For A Train the band venture into rockin' Country, while Rockabilly Reaper and Train To Catch touch on the rockin' side of Psychobilly.
Lady Luck Combo also have a fascination for Surf music, which finds its place in the energetic Surf Gadget and the hypnotic The Missing Link, while the classic rockabilly is represented with She Went To Vegas and Be-Bop-A-Lulu.
You might hear influences of Johnny Cash, Link Wray, Johnny Burnette and Carl Perkins, but the songs are, with one exception (Broken Heart - The Moonlighters' forgotten classic) original Lady Luck Combo compositions.
