Buddy Knox was a pioneer of the Texas Rockabilly sound and a legendary artist of the Rock 'n' Roll era.
His classic Party Doll made him the first ever artist have a million-seller with their own self-written song, skyrocketing to the top of the charts in April 1957.
He followed up with further hits the same year - Rock Your Little Bably To Sleep made #17 in June '57, amd Hula Love climbed to #9 in October.
