This release documents the early career of one of the worlds greatest-ever guitarists, James Burton, playing on tracks by artists including Dale Hawkins, Bob Luman, Bobby Lee Trammel, Ricky Nelson and the Everly Brothers.
Burton's instantly recognisable finger-picking style graced many fine records from the mid 1950s onwards. He was the mainstay of Elvis Presley's TCB band, backing him on record and in concert.
Includes many rarities, with ten of the tracks are making their CD debut.
