Accompanying 32-page booklet includes detailed liner notes and session information. Jimmie Skinner's phrasing was reminiscent of Jimmie Rodgers and early Ernest Tubb. He flailed his guitar an aggressive backbeat, influencing many rockabilly artists.
This excellent set gathers 34 original recordings dating from 1949 through to 1960.
