Dust My Rhythm & Blues - Flair Records R&B Story 1953-'55

Dust My Rhythm & Blues is devoted to the R&B recordings released on Modern Records subsidiary label, Flair, between 1953 and 1956.
Originally a hillbilly and country imprint, after nine releases in that field, Flair switched over to R&B - boasting such great artists as Elmore James, Ike Turner and Richard Berry.
The 50 tracks on this double-CD represent every facet of the music that came out on Flair during its relatively short lifetime, and includes almost 20 previously unissued alternate takes.
26 of the 50 tracks here have never been available on CD before.
Featured artists include Elmore James, The Flairs, Johnny Ace, Shirley Gunter, James Reed, Billy Gale, Ike Turner, The Chimes, Richard Berr, Mercy Dee and many others.
