Atomic Sunset : Hot Rods and Pin Ups CD
Modern Hot-Rod Rockabilly from Belgrade. There's some incredible guitar playing here, and slap-bass man Djordje is becoming known as one of the world's best having played with Deke Dickerson, Lemmy, and Slim Jim Phantom.
This is not traditional 50s style Rockabilly, it is very modern and now! Powerful thumpin' stuff with a big Brian Setzer/Stray Cats influence with touches of Psychobilly and Surf too. Lots of original songs, plus great covers of The Clash's Train In Vain and Johnny Kidd's Shakin' All Over.
