An album of struttin' Rockabilly from The Honey Dippers, formed in Los Angeles by Rockabilly guitar slinger Danny B Harvey and singer Gary Twinn.
Danny Harvey is well-known among Rockabilly fans a guitar player for Levi Dexter & The Ripchords and The Rockats. As well as playing as The Honeydippers, he also is a member of 13 Cats along with Slim Jim Phantom (Stray Cats) Tim Worman (The Rockats) and Smutty Smith (The Rockats).
Gary Twinn's impressive musical past includes fronting The Twenty Flight Rockers and Supernaut. As well as performing Rockabilly with The Honeydippers, he has recently formed Speedtwinn with ex-Generation X guitarist Derwood Andrews.
Honeydipper Stomp features 20 Rockabilly twangers and stompers. Most songs are Danny Harvey and Gary Twinn originals, with a handful of choice covers ranging from '50s blaster Rocket In My Pocket to The Clash's Guns Of Brixton.
