Here are the complete Okeh, Columbia and Starday recordings of Link Davis gathered together for the first time, including previously unissued material and two alternate. The accompanying booklet contains detailed liner notes and previously unpublished photos.

Link Davis began in the 1950s as a forward-looking white singer and saxophonist, recording a storming version of "Good Rockin' Tonight" five years before Elvis Presley's supposedly ground-breaking attempt at the same song.  Then he became a Cajun fiddler, scoring a big regional hit "Big Mamou".  In the mid '50s the coming of Rock 'n' Roll saw Link re-emerge as a rocker, cutting some of his most memorable records including "Sixteen Chicks", "Grasshopper Rock" and "Don't Big Shot Me".
